CfR.2/2017/5 Investigate positive and negative feedback loops of ecosystems contributing to regulating climate.

The request was received from the EU Comission DG in the 2018 call for requests. Due to its nature as a highly societally relevant request it was decided that the societal engagement team would coordinate the request.

During the scoping phase several ideas were presented on how to investigate the feedback loops between climate change and biodiversity loss. Despite these efforts it was eventually decided that the request would not be optimal for the EKLIPSE mechanism to progress with and the request was terminated in December 2018.
